About Rosie
Who is Rosie?
Analyst, Mentor, Community Builder
Hello, I’m Rosie. My full name is Cathleen Rose Jeffers, but I’ve been going by Rose since I was 8 years old!
I’m passionate about connecting with others in and around the ABA field, and being a part of a supportive and collaborative community of life-changing professionals.
On this page, I share my experience in behavior analysis, management, my dissemination work, memberships, education, and some personal info.
Behavior Analyst
MAT, BCBA, LABA - MA (she/her)
Began working in ABA in 2015.
In almost every company I’ve worked, I have become the go-to BCBA® for advice (new BTs, new BCBAs, new managers). I love the connection with 1-on-1 supervision, and sharing my knowledge.
Wide range of experience for companies at the local, regional, and national level.
Dedicated mentor - professional development, ethics mentorship, time management and boundary setting, interpersonal skills, and more (see more info here).
University of West Georgia - remote fieldwork supervision, working with the next generation of practitioners!
Some might call me a “workaholic." However, I’d disagree, I have a true passion for behavior analysis, mentoring, and dissemination. I’ve strengthened my organization and scheduling skills, and as someone who live with chronic illness/pain, I’ve built a strong foundation in burnout monitoring that I love sharing with others.

Management
Before finding my passion in behavior analysis, I managed Dunkin’ restaurants for 4 years. It was an exhausting bootcamp in management, training, scheduling, and customer service.
Honestly, it was depressing having a Master’s Degree and working at a thankless fast food job while dreaming of teaching, but after graduating, I couldn’t find a full-time job. I worked wherever I could— part-time after school programs, substitute teaching, tutoring, babysitting, but I was still paying for gas with dimes.
Dunkin’ gave me some financial stability, and since it was the job I had, I did my best. I quickly advanced from Assistant Manager to Manager where I cleaned up operations, which led to managing another 2 locations and then a 24-hour store, which was a true test of my management skills.
Looking back, the soft skills I learned from this experience ultimately allowed me to focus completely on behavior analysis once I discovered the field, instead of having to learn the science AND management simultaneously.
(These are the skills I share in my Soft Skills CEU.)
